Wow...I can't believe it's Round Robin time again. I have a pretty pathetic posting record for that last two weeks. YIKES!
Since it IS the 2nd anniversary of round robin...we were asked to choose a memorable subject from the past. Now, I missed tons of them and I probably should have explored one I had not previously done. But, the subject of Wabisabi strikes a chord with me.
I loved this subject, and I think that a lot of my photographic work reflects this. So, I'm revisiting Wabisabi with my original image....and a few extras that I'd like to take the opportunity to post.
My original submission...
and others....

I hope you'll visit all the other Robins...and check out their favorites!

Absolutely gorgeous pictures. I love the original entry shot - amazing detail.
Hi Kat :)
Great minds think alike, you and I and Steven all did Wabi-Sabi for our subject. :) I absolutely love the original photo you did, and of course the ones you posted new. Especially the leaf, you know how much I adore autumn. A single red leaf is so poignant. :) Truly lovely darlin!
Beautiful photos! I loved them so much, I scrolled through the rest of your blog and your website too! Such great photos and interesting projects :)
Beautiful shots! They give a feeling of tranquility.
I love the one with the brown leaf - such delicacy and detail! Well done!
Beautiful photos. cheers Kerrin
WOW. I love the original submission! The others are great too ... you might have been a tad lacking in the participation these past two years, but your photography is certainly not lacking!
