Photo Art Friday - Hardware

Moving forward slowly and surely to get ready to finally launch into my photography business and at that point, I'll be opening another blog to feature the work I'm doing with clients.  But this will be my place to be creative and play and pursue my other photographic interests.  I need somewhere to put all those bird photos!  :)  I feel so ADD creatively....many things started, not much finished.

But Photo Art Friday is inspiration to get at least ONE thing done a week as long as it doesn't sneak up on me to quickly.  This week, I remembered just in time.

I took this photo of an old iron fence on a bleak winter day.  I've used the Pixel Dust Photo Dust textures Nitty Gritty and Vintage Craquelure.

Lots of great digital art for you to visit here.

Absolutely beautiful. Love the worn look and the little tendrils of the plant embracing the fence is just delightful.

I love the photo! It's almost Gothic and reflects my autumnal soul. I'm so glad to hear that you're embarking on the photography business and I'll look forward to the new blog addition.

Magic! You've weathered and aged it and still retained the beautiful light.

I am a HUGE fan and collector of cemetery fencing......your transformation of this iron piece is soft and serene and quite lovely. Wonderfully done!
I don't think I've ever 'met' a cemetery I didn't love!
Have a great weekend!

Awesome photo - old and forgotten feels to it - Just the right amount of lighting to the image -- like everything about it!!

Thanks for visiting my blog earlier today-I have been to your blog awhile ago, like last month. Your name sounded familiar to me. Great image of the iron fence! I would love to have something like that around to grab some photos of! It's a treasure for sure!

This looks like an invitation to open the long-unused gate and enter a magical world of a fascinating fairy tale.
