In the spring, I did a photographic study of ferns. It's a favorite subject I explore every year as the leaves begin to unfurl.
As winter approaches, the ferns are once again of great interest. This backlit beauty called to me from the brush along a park path.

I love ferns also, and am always out there with the camera. There is something so appealing about them, the curling fronds...my perfect plant.

I so enjoyed viewing your photographs. It is such a wonderful idea to choose a subject and study it well, IE> bird, ferns, etc. What is next? This fern photo is so lovely, would make a wonderful card. smiles: sharon
