A light breeze in the meadow and a shallow depth of field allowed me to create these images with varying degrees of abstraction. It was exactly what I set out to do!
I think the comment above summed up my thoughts as I was looking at the photographs - bright, cheery, ethereal and stunning. They provoked a sense of peace and happiness.
You have such a refreshingly different style. Almost every photo I have looked at this evening, speaks to me. i ahve no experience with phone photography, but what youa re doing with it is amazing. Is it the really long numbers in the .jpg name that are phone pidtures?
Sorry --- just went to flickr and learned that you used the D300 for these. I only have a 35mm prime with that, and you used the 400mm. Gorgeous the way the yellow suffuses the image. You handle that camera a whole lot better than me :-)
I consider myself a serious amateur photographer. I enjoy photographing nature and landscapes, travel destinations, and macro subjects. I take thousands of images a year and am happy to have the opportunity to share a few here with you.

There is so much beauty and creativity in your images...they draw me in, and captivate me.
